Say BOO to the FLU

As the leaves change and the air turns crisp, it's fall in Texas! Healthcare at the Grove is unwavering in our commitment to your well-being. One of the most effective measures in preventing the spread of viral illnesses is the annual flu shot!

The flu virus tends to rear its head during the fall and winter months, affecting people of all ages. To safeguard your health and that of those around you, it's highly recommended to receive your annual flu shot in the months of September and October. Even if you've never personally experienced the flu, getting vaccinated plays a crucial role in curbing the virus's spread and protecting those who may be too ill to receive the vaccination themselves.

Healthcare at the Grove has begun vaccinating in our clinic, and many employers offer this vaccine at no cost at work.  If you find it challenging to visit us, simply inquire with your local pharmacist, as many pharmacies and grocery stores also provide this service.

Breast cancer awareness

Among the array of vital services we offer, routine preventative screenings, including mammograms, hold a significant place. Mammograms stand as a cornerstone of preventive healthcare, and it is strongly recommended that all women aged 40 and above undergo routine annual mammograms. However, individual risk factors and family medical history may necessitate starting these screenings earlier.
